Where Every SEC Team Plays This Weekend

Opening weekend brought us a lot of surprises in college softball. With Week 1 behind us, see below for where every SEC team will play during the second weekend of the 2020 Division-I softball season.

Missouri: After a 5-0 opening weekend, the Tigers will play in Florida again at the SPC Elite Invitational, where they will face Kansas, Liberty, Oklahoma State, Virginia Tech, James Madison and Minnesota.

Alabama: The Crimson Tide will look to rebound this weekend in Florida at the SPC Elite Invitational, where they will face Liberty, Washington, South Florida, UCLA and Oklahoma State.

Florida: The Gators host the Bubly Invitational over the weekend, where they will face North Dakota State, Longwood, Southeastern Louisiana and FAMU.

Ole Miss: The Rebels are the only SEC team without a win so far this season. They will participate in the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge in Mexico for the second week of the season and play Colorado State, Utah, California Baptist, the Mexican National Team and Texas.

Kentucky: The Wildcats are undefeated after four games at the NFCA Leadoff Classic. This weekend, they will travel to Tempe, Ariz. for the Littlewood Classic and face Boise State, Arizona State (twice), Illinois State and Detroit Mercy.

LSU: The Tigers are also undefeated after scoring 31 runs and allowing only four through their first five contests.They will stay at home this weekend for the Tiger Classic and host Samford, UL-Lafayette and North Dakota.

Mississippi State: The Bulldogs were the NFCA Leadoff Classic champions during the first weekend of the season. They will host the Bulldog Kickoff Classic over the weekend and face Tulsa, North Alabama and Tennessee State.

Georgia: Georgia will also compete at the SPC Elite Invitational over the weekend, and play Kansas, Northwestern, Texas Tech, UCLA, South Florida and Samford.

Auburn: The Tigers start the Plainsman Invitational on Friday, and host UNCW and Alabama State.

South Carolina: The Gamecocks are another SEC team that will be at the SPC Elite Invitational for the second weekend of the season. In Florida, they will face Texas Tech, Virginia Tech, Kansas, Washington and James Madison.

Texas A&M: The Aggies will host an invitational this weekend with participating teams Lamar, St. John’s and Binghamton.

Arkansas: The Razorbacks will travel to FGCU to play FGCU (twice), Memphis, Illinois-Chicago and Furman.

Tennessee: The Volunteers will travel to Mexico for the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge this weekend, where they will face Colorado State, Utah, California Baptist, the Mexican National Team and Texas.
