Where Every SEC Team Plays On Opening Weekend

The 2020 NCAA Division I softball season starts on Thursday and all 13 teams in the SEC will be in action. Five of those teams—Auburn, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Missouri—will be at the NFCA Division 1 Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Fla.
Of those teams, Kentucky and Mississippi State will get the chance to play Team USA as the American squad prepares for the Olympics this year. Find the complete schedule for the NFCA tournament here.
The SEC's remaining eight teams will either host their own invitationals or travel to one.
Georgia: The Bulldogs' first game of the season comes against North Alabama in Athens, Ga. on Thursday. They start the Red and Black Showcase on Friday. The participating schools are UNCW, Howard and Kent State. They will travel to Clearwater, Fla. the following weekend for the St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational, where they will get to play against three top 25 teams: UCLA, Texas Tech and Northwestern.
LSU: The Tigers start their season in the same style as Georgia with a game against Central Arkansas on Thursday, and then they start the Tiger Classic on Friday. They will host Oklahoma State and Florida A&M. LSU does not travel outside the state of Louisiana for a game until the Judi Garman Classic in California at the end of the month.
Florida: The Gators will travel to Tampa, Fla. for five games at the USF-Rawlings Invitational starting on Friday. The following week, the Gators face the United States women's national team. Florida will also travel to California for the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic a few weeks later.
