USA Softball announced a "Stand Beside Her" tour stop in Virginia on Thursday.

The stop will take place on June 25 in Salem, Va. and will include a single exhibition contest at 7 p.m. ET. Team USA will compete against the Salem All-Stars, which will be a team made up of local college softball players.

"It's exciting to go to new places where we will be able to see new fans who love Team USA," Team USA catcher Aubree Munro said in a press release. "With Salem being towards the end of our tour, we're hoping that everyone comes out to 'Stand Beside Her' – us – as we get ready to leave for the Olympics."

Other "Stand Beside Her" tour stops that have been announced by USA Softball include Feb. 7-9 in Florida, Feb. 20-23 in California, March 31 in Alabama, April 3 and 5 in Georgia and April 25 in Texas.

The main message of the 2020 Olympic team's "Stand Beside Her" tour is unity, as the U.S. begins its quest for an Olympic gold medal at the Tokyo Games.

In July, softball will make its first appearance at the Olympic Games since 2008, with the gold-medal game scheduled for July 28.
