USA Softball Announces Two More California Tour Stops

USA Softball has announced two more "Stand Beside Her" tour stops in California.
The stops will take place March 8 in Irvine, Calif. and March 10 in Santee, Calif. near San Diego. Each tour stop will feature a doubleheader exhibition.
During its first stop in Southern California, Team USA will face Cal State San Marcos (CSUSM) and UC San Diego. The second stop will feature a matchup between the U.S. women's national team and CSUN—who is coached by Team USA assistant Tairia Flowers—as well as a game against San Diego State University.
"So Cal! I am so excited to be playing in Irvine for the 'Stand Beside Her' tour," Team USA member and Southern California-native Delaney Spaulding said in a release. "Being a local girl, having family, friends and fans in the stands will be amazing and we can't wait to play in front of you all. Come say hi!"
With the addition of these stops, Team USA will now travel to California three times for the "Stand Beside Her" tour.
Other "Stand Beside Her" tour stops that have been announced by USA Softball include Feb. 7-9 in Florida, Feb. 18 in Arizona, Feb. 20-23 in California, March 17 and 18 in Oregon, March 31 and April 1 in Alabama, April 3 and 5 in Georgia, April 7 and May 30 in Tennessee, April 15 in Louisiana, April 18 and 25 in Texas, May 1 and 3 in Missouri, May 17 in California, June 3 in Missouri, June 9 and 10 in Michigan, June 18 in Massachusetts, June 21 in New Jersey and June 25 in Virginia.
The main message of the "Stand Beside Her" tour is unity, as Team USA starts its journey for a gold medal at the 2020 Olympics.
In July, softball will make its first appearance at the Summer Games since 2008. The gold-medal contest is scheduled for July 28.
