USA Softball announced a "Stand Beside Her" tour stop in Midland, Texas on Friday.

The tour stop, which will take place April 25, will feature a doubleheader between the 2020 United States Olympic softball team and the Division II Lubbock Christian University softball squad out of the Heartland Conference. The games will take place at Security Bank Ballpark, which is the home of the Midland RockHounds, a Double-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics.

Tickets for the doubleheader go on sale Feb. 1.

Other "Stand Beside Her" tour stops that have been announced by USA Softball include Feb. 7-9 in Florida, Feb. 20-23 in California and March 31 in Alabama.

The main message of the 2020 Olympic team's "Stand Beside Her" tour is unity, as the U.S. begins its quest for an Olympic gold medal.

In July, softball will make its first appearance at the Olympic Games since 2008, with the gold-medal game scheduled for July 28.
