USA Softball Announces Tennessee Tour Stop

USA Softball announced a "Stand Beside Her" tour stop in Tennessee on Tuesday.
The stop, which will take place April 7 in Chattanooga, Tenn., will feature one exhibition contest between Team USA and UT-Chattanooga at 6:30 p.m. ET. The game will take place at Jim Frost Stadium at Warner Park.
"This will be my first time playing in the state of Tennessee," U.S. Olympic softball team member Ali Aguilar said in a press release. "I'm excited to meet all the fans and see how much Chattanooga loves the game of softball."
Other "Stand Beside Her" tour stops that have been announced by USA Softball include Feb. 7-9 in Florida, Feb. 20-23 in California, March 31 in Alabama, April 3 and 5 in Georgia, April 18 and 25 in Texas, June 9 and 10 in Michigan and June 25 in Virginia.
The main message of Team USA's "Stand Beside Her" tour is unity, as the American squad begins its quest for an Olympic gold medal at the Tokyo Games.
In July, softball will make its first appearance at the Olympic Games since 2008, with the gold-medal contest scheduled for July 28.
