USA Softball has announced a second "Stand Beside Her" tour stop in Missouri.

The stop will take place May 1 at the Kansas City Major League Baseball (MLB) Urban Youth Academy in Kansas City, Mo. and feature two exhibition games against undisclosed opponents. Team USA's second "Stand Beside Her" tour stop in Missouri will take place June 3 in Springfield, Mo.

"Kansas City is only three hours from home for me," Team USA member Kelsey Stewart said in a statement. "I am so excited to have a tour stop where all my friends and family can come watch how this team is gearing up for the Olympics."

Other "Stand Beside Her" tour stops that have been announced by USA Softball include Feb. 7-9 in Florida, Feb. 20-23 in California, March 17 and 18 in Oregon, March 31 and April 1 in Alabama, April 3 and 5 in Georgia, April 7 and May 30 in Tennessee, April 15 in Louisiana, April 18 and 25 in Texas, June 3 in Missouri, June 9 and 10 in Michigan and June 25 in Virginia.

The main message of the "Stand Beside Her" tour is unity, as Team USA begins its quest for a gold medal at the Summer Games in Tokyo.

In July, softball will make its first appearance at the Olympics since 2008. The gold-medal contest is scheduled for July 28.
