USA Softball announced its second "Stand Beside Her" tour stop in Alabama on Tuesday.

The stop will take place April 1 at Jane B. Moore Stadium in Auburn, Ala. and feature an exhibition contest between Team USA and Auburn University. The game will come just one day after the American squad takes on the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

"The 'Stand Beside Her' tour helps us tremendously to build our family culture and chemistry to carry us through the Olympic Games," Team USA alternate Taylor Edwards said in a statement. "Having the opportunity to compete together and against some top competition in the U.S. will definitely help us get our skills even more fine-tuned and create our team heartbeat. It'll be an awesome experience traveling to Auburn and getting used to change and being adaptable as a group."

Other "Stand Beside Her" tour stops that have been announced by USA Softball include Feb. 7-9 in Florida, Feb. 20-23 in California, March 18 in Oregon, March 31 in Alabama, April 3 and 5 in Georgia, April 7 and May 30 in Tennessee, April 18 and 25 in Texas, June 9 and 10 in Michigan and June 25 in Virginia.

The main message of Team USA's tour is unity, as the national team begins its journey for a gold medal at the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo.

In July, softball will make its first appearance at the Olympics since 2008, with the gold-medal contest scheduled for July 28.
