USA Softball Announces Ohio Tour Stop

USA Softball has announced a "Stand Beside Her" tour stop in Ohio.
The stop will take place on June 7 at Brookside Park in Ashland, Ohio and feature an exhibition doubleheader against undisclosed opponents.
"We're excited to come play in Ashland, Ohio on the 'Stand Beside Her' tour," Team USA alternate Keilani Ricketts said in a release. "I remember first coming to Ashland with USA Softball in 2012 for National Team Trials and exhibition games and we received nothing but the utmost support from the community and USA Softball of Ohio. Coming back next June with our team being a month away from the 2020 Olympic Games will be even more exciting."
Other "Stand Beside Her" tour stops that have been announced by USA Softball include Feb. 7-9 in Florida, Feb. 18 in Arizona, Feb. 20-23 in California, March 8 and 10 in California, March 17 and 18 in Oregon, March 31 and April 1 in Alabama, April 3 and 5 in Georgia, April 7 and May 30 in Tennessee, April 15 in Louisiana, April 18, 21-23 and 25 in Texas, May 1 and 3 in Missouri, May 17 in California, June 3 in Missouri, June 9 and 10 in Michigan, June 18 in Massachusetts, June 21 in New Jersey, June 23 in Maryland and June 25 in Virginia.
The main message of the "Stand Beside Her" tour is unity, as Team USA begins its quest for a gold medal at the 2020 Olympics.
In July, softball will make its first appearance at the Summer Games since 2008. The gold-medal contest is scheduled for July 28.
