USA Softball announced two "Stand Beside Her" tour stops in Michigan on Friday.

The stops will include doubleheader exhibition contests, one on June 9 in Midland, Mich. and another on June 10 in East Lansing, Mich.

"I am beyond excited that Team USA will be playing in Michigan," Michigan native and Team USA member Amanda Chidester said in a press release. "This is a huge opportunity for all of Michigan’s softball fans and players to have the chance to watch the best of the best. I have had the pleasure of working with so many young aspiring softball players in the state of Michigan and I would encourage them all to come out and see what dreaming big truly can get you."

Team USA's opponents for its Michigan tour stops have not yet been announced.

Other "Stand Beside Her" tour stops that have been announced by USA Softball include Feb. 7-9 in Florida, Feb. 20-23 in California, March 31 in Alabama, April 3 and 5 in Georgia, April 25 in Texas and June 25 in Virginia.

The main message of the 2020 Olympic team's "Stand Beside Her" tour is unity, as the U.S. begins its quest for an Olympic gold medal at the Tokyo Games.

In July, softball will make its first appearance at the Olympic Games since 2008, with the gold-medal game scheduled for July 28.
