USA Softball has announced a "Stand Beside Her" tour stop in Massachusetts.

The stop will take place June 18 at James Martin Field in Lowell, Mass. and feature an exhibition doubleheader against a team of collegiate standouts.

"Being from the West Coast, it's super exciting to know that fans on the other side of the country support our team so much on our journey to Tokyo," Team USA member Bubba Nickles said in a release. "It's amazing to be able to go to a city I've never been to before and meet so many people who share the love of softball with my team and I."

Other "Stand Beside Her" tour stops that have been announced by USA Softball include Feb. 7-9 in Florida, Feb. 18 in Arizona, Feb. 20-23 in California, March 17 and 18 in Oregon, March 31 and April 1 in Alabama, April 3 and 5 in Georgia, April 7 and May 30 in Tennessee, April 15 in Louisiana, April 18 and 25 in Texas, May 1 and 3 in Missouri, May 17 in California, June 3 in Missouri, June 9 and 10 in Michigan, June 21 in New Jersey and June 25 in Virginia.

The main message of the "Stand Beside Her" tour is unity, as Team USA starts its quest for a gold medal at the 2020 Olympics.

In July, softball will make its first appearance at the Summer Games since 2008. The gold-medal contest is scheduled for July 28.
