USA Softball Announces 2019 U-17 Women's National Team

USA Softball announced the members of its 2019 U-17 women's national team on Wednesday.

The squad, which will be comprised of 15 players and three coaches from around the country, will compete in the U-17 Pan American Championship in Barranquilla, Colombia for a ten-day tournament beginning Oct. 10. Once there, the Americans will attempt to earn a spot in the 2020 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-18 Women's Softball World Cup.

The 2019 team's head coach is Kyla Holas, and her assistant coaches include Becky Snow and Ernie Yarbrough.

Japan Defeats USA To Capture Gold Medal, Canada Takes Bronze

Japan defeated Team USA to win the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, while Canada took the bronze.
