Summit League Suspends Softball

The Summit League has suspended its spring sports through March 30 due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, the league announced Thursday.
The conference is now the 13th Division-I league to have its spring sports impacted by COVID-19. The CAA, Pac-12, SEC, WAC, NEC, Missouri Valley, Big West, Mountain West, Southland and Conference USA announced they would suspend their spring sports on Thursday, while the Ivy League and Patriot League both canceled their spring seasons outright.
