In the wake of the abbreviated 2020 college softball season, we at Softball America rolled out our 2020 College Softball Awards much earlier than we had originally anticipated.

Nonetheless, these awards highlight some of the best college softball players in the country from the 2020 season that was.

Pitcher of the Year: Megan Faraimo, UCLA

Defensive Player of the Year: Sis Bates, Washington

Transfer of the Year: Baylee Klingler, Washington

Most Improved Player: Caroline Jacobsen, Duke

Freshman Player of the Year: Maya Brady, UCLA

Freshman Pitcher of the Year: Rylee Trlicek, Florida
