The Pac-12 and SEC are the latest conferences to suspend their spring sports due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak.

According to statements released by both conferences, the SEC will suspend its spring sports until March 30, while the Pac-12's sports are suspended until further notice.

The two Power Five conferences are the fourth and fifth Division-I leagues to have their spring sports impacted by COVID-19. The CAA announced it would suspend its spring sports on Thursday, while the Ivy League and Patriot League both canceled their spring seasons outright.

The Pac-12 possesses nine Division-I softball teams, while the SEC possesses 13.
