Longtime WCWS Volunteer Loses Cancer Battle

For the past 27 years, softball fans from around the world saw the smiling face belonging to a man they called, "Taco," whenever they arrived in Oklahoma City for the Women's College World Series.
Tom Collins was a fixture around sports in Oklahoma for decades. He worked Big 12 events for football, basketball, baseball and softball.
On Thursday afternoon, social media was flooded with messages about Collins that confirmed his passing from pancreatic cancer.
The 2020 WCWS just won't be the same without him.
