Team Mexico's Danielle O'Toole will play in her first Olympic Games this summer when she takes the field in Tokyo. O'Toole, an All-American pitcher at Arizona, is also a professional softball player with Athletes Unlimited.

O'Toole, who will be 27 years old when she takes the mound at the Olympics, helped Team Mexico qualify for its first-ever appearance at the Games in softball.

She spoke with SA about what she is looking forward to in Tokyo, how she kept her mind and body where they needed to be during the pandemic, what it means to represent Mexico in the country's first Olympics for softball and plenty more.
