Kaleigh Rafter's solo homer walked Canada off and into the 2020 Olympics. Danielle Lawrie-Locke was masterful in the circle and Larissa Franklin was 2-for-2 with three runs batted in to lead Canada to a 7-0 run-rule victory on Sunday evening in Surrey, B.C.

The second of two Olympic berths at the WBSC Softball Americas Qualifier came down to the final game of the tournament between Canada and Brazil.

Franklin tripled in Kaleigh Rafter in the bottom of the second to give Canada an early 1-0 lead. The home team never looked back and scored five in the bottom of the third.

Lawrie-Locke allowed one hit in the complete-game effort.
