Hope Trautwein of Oklahoma is Softball America's NCAA Transfer of the Year for the 2022 college softball season.

The North Texas transfer made waves in her one and only year with the Sooners. After being the career leader for the Mean Green in ERA (2.05), wins (61), saves (15), lowest opponent batting average (.197) and strikeouts per seven innings (8.11), Trautwein made an immediate impact for No. 1 Oklahoma. She went 22-1 this season with a 0.77 ERA and 157 strikeouts.

Trautwein was also in the circle to record the final out for Oklahoma at this year's Women's College World Series, helping the Sooners secure their second straight and sixth overall national title.
