2021 NCAA Pitcher Of The Year: Odicci Alexander

Odicci Alexander of James Madison is Softball America's NCAA Pitcher of the Year for the 2021 college softball season.
Alexander, who led the Dukes to their first Women's College World Series appearance in program history, set the softball world ablaze throughout the postseason with her Herculean efforts in the circle.
Beginning with the CAA Tournament and concluding in a trip to the WCWS semifinals, Alexander went 8-3 with one save and 94 strikeouts in 75.5 innings pitched. She threw 1,229 total pitches throughout that stretch of time.
For the 2021 campaign, Alexander went 18-3 in the circle with a 1.71 ERA and 204 strikeouts. She also hit .317 with 26 hits and 12 RBI on the season.
The redshirt senior had a storied career at JMU that was capped off with a WCWS semifinals appearance and a team record of 41-4 for the season. She'll be remembered for her guts in the circle and ability to capture the hearts of softball fans around the country.
