Texas freshman Shealyn O'Leary steadily developed into one of the strongest pitchers in the country as she finished 2019 with a 0.65 earned run average, the nation's lowest ERA.

O'Leary exploded onto the scene when she pitched a perfect game against Baylor on March 27. She struck out three batters but only needed 63 pitches in seven innings.

She capped off her season when she went head-to-head against Alabama's freshman-phenom Montana Fouts and led the Longhorns to a come-from-behind victory in the Tuscaloosa Super Regional to force an if-necessary game.
