Jocelyn Alo

Notes: The most prolific hitter in college softball continued to mash the ball in May. To date this month, Alo has posted a .538 batting average, recorded 14 RBIs and hit four home runs. In May, the fifth-year senior carried an eight-game hitting streak and had five multi-hit contests. She continued to collect accolades throughout the month, as she was named the Big 12 Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and was a member of the Big 12 All-Tournament Team after going 4-for-7 in the conference tournament. - 2Last: 8
Danielle Gibson
ArkansasNotes:2022 stats (as of 5/24/22): .445 BA, 77 H, 14 2B, 20 HR, 69 RBI, 53 R
Notes: The Razorbacks have become one of the top offenses not only in the SEC, but also in the entire country. A large part of that is the power and consistency Gibson brings to the plate. To date, Gibson has hit for a .438 average in May and collected 16 RBIs, which is the second-highest total on this list. The 2022 First-Team All-SEC selection has a five-game hitting streak this month, three multi-hit games and four long balls so far in May. - 3Last: 6
Baylee Klingler

Notes: Klingler concluded her breakout year with a stellar May. The Houston native registered a .410 batting average this month due to a six-game hitting streak and four multi-hit games. She finished the month with four home runs and 13 RBIs. Klingler received some of the highest honors in college softball to cap off her senior year, which included being named the Pac-12 Player of the Year and a Top Three Finalist for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award. - 4

Wichita StateNotes:2022 stats (as of 5/24/22): .522 BA, 97 H, 12 2B, 5 3B, 13 HR, 38 RBI, 69 R
Notes: McKinney hit for the highest average (.636) on this list this month. The junior from Missouri recorded a hit in all nine games the Shockers played in May. In seven of those nine games, she had multiple hits. McKinney’s biggest multi-hit game came on May 12 with a 5-for-5 performance against Memphis. She finished the month with a pair of home runs and four RBIs. McKinney was named a First-Team All-AAC selection as well as a member of the AAC All-Tournament Team. - 5Last: 10
Delanie Wisz

Notes: Wisz is the catalyst of the UCLA offense, and she's put up a strong performance in May thus far with a .533 batting average and 17 RBIs, which is the highest total of anyone on this list. Wisz has had four multi-RBI games in May, with a current high of six against Grand Canyon in the Bruins’ regional opener. This month, Wisz was also named a First-Team All-Pac-12 selection. - 6
Briana Perez
UCLANotes:2022 stats (as of 5/24/22): .394 BA, 65 H, 15 2B, 7 3B, 10 HR, 42 RBI, 46 R
Notes: What’s allowed Wisz to tally so many RBIs is due to Perez getting on base in front of her. Earlier this month, Perez was named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and also a First-Team All-Pac-12 selection. So far in May, she's posted a .411 batting average, driven in eight runs, scored nine times and recorded a long ball. - 7
Cydney Sanders

Notes: Sanders has been one of the top players in the country all season long, and was named the Pac-12’s best freshman earlier this month. Not only was she named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, but Sanders was also named a First-Team All-Pac-12 selection in her rookie campaign. So far in May, she's hit five home runs and posted 13 RBIs. - 8
Kristina Foreman
DukeNotes:2022 stats (as of 5/24/22): .415 BA, 51 H, 6 2B, 0 3B, 15 HR, 56 RBI, 41 R
Notes: Foreman played a huge part in helping Duke advance to its first Super Regionals appearance in program history. In the winner-take-all final of the Durham Regional against Georgia, Foreman had a multi-hit and five-RBI game. So far in May, she's had five multi-hit games, three home runs and 16 RBIs to go along with her .461 batting average for the month. Foreman was also named a Second-Team All-ACC selection earlier this month. - 9
Jada Cody

Notes: So far this month, Cody has helped UCF advance to its first Super Regional in program history, while also hitting for a .419 average and posting an eight-game hitting streak. The sophomore was named the Most Outstanding Player of the American Athletic Conference Tournament after going 4-for-6 at the plate with a home run and five RBIs for the Knights. - 10
Sharlize Palacios
ArizonaNotes:2022 stats (as of 5/24/22): .340 BA, 53 H, 4 2B, 1 3B, 19 HR, 59 RBI, 45 R
Notes: Palacios has had a hit in all nine of the Wildcats' contests so far this month, with two of her performances being multi-hit and multi-RBI games. The redshirt sophomore currently has a .440 batting average in May, with four home runs and six RBIs. Palacios was named a First-Team All-Pac-12 selection earlier this month.
