Jocelyn Alo
OklahomaNotes:2022 stats (as of 2/27/22): .474 BA, 18 H, 4 2B, 7 HR, 20 RBI, 18 R
Notes: One of the biggest questions heading into the 2022 season was when would Alo solidify herself at the top of the NCAA home run record books. On Feb. 20 against Texas State, Alo tied Lauren Chamberlain for the all-time home run record. The fifth-year senior was named the NFCA National Player of the Week on Feb. 22 for accomplishing this feat at the Houston Classic. She is ranked in the top 10 in the country in both home runs and RBI. - 2
Haley Lee
Texas A&MNotes:2022 stats (as of 2/27/22): .595 BA, 22 H, 3 2B, 2 HR, 13 RBI, 16 R
Notes: In 2021, Lee was overshadowed in the SEC by Alabama’s Bailey Hemphill and Kentucky’s Kayla Kowalik. But in the young 2022 season, she has not only taken center stage in the SEC, but also in the country. Lee had nine multi-hit games and just as many contests with an RBI. She has scored in 12 of Texas A&M’s 14 games. - 3
Frankie Hammoude
Oregon StateNotes:2022 stats (as of 2/27/22): .500 BA, 21 H, 3 2B, 7 HR, 16 RBI, 12 R
Notes: Hammoude looks to be the toughest out in the Pac-12 through the first three weeks of the season. The Oakland, Calif. native leads the conference in home runs and ranks second in batting average. One of Hammoude’s long balls came against Alabama’s Montana Fouts. The junior recorded an astounding seven RBI against New Mexico State on Feb. 13. Hammoude has reached base safely in every game this season. - 4
Erin Coffel
KentuckyNotes:2022 stats (as of 2/27/22): .462 BA, 18 H, 3 2B, 6 HR, 26 RBI, 12 R
Notes: Coffel came into the 2021 season as one of the most highly touted recruits in Kentucky history and she did not disappoint. In 2022, there seems to be no sign of a sophomore slump for her. On Feb. 21, Coffel was named the SEC Player of the Week after a .692 performance at the plate during the Hillenbrand Invitational. She has recorded an RBI in all but three games and had nine multi-RBI games in February. - 5
Kinsley Washington
UCLANotes:2022 stats (as of 2/27/22): .438 BA, 21 H, 4 2B, 5 HR, 16 RBI, 14 R
Notes: If Hammoude isn’t the toughest out in the Pac-12, then it’s UCLA's Washington. Washington had seven multi-hit performances in February, with three hits in a couple of the Bruins' games, and five multi-RBI contests. The redshirt senior came around to score in 12 of UCLA’s 15 games in February. She is currently in the top 10 in RBI and home runs in the conference. - 6
Mikayla Ramos
Iowa StateNotes:2022 stats (as of 2/27/22): .432 BA, 19 H, 3 2B, 8 HR, 24 RBI, 20 R
Notes: It’s easy to be overlooked when Oklahoma and its offense headlines the Big 12 Conference. However, Ramos has had such a strong start to the season that she can’t be ignored. The senior has notched an RBI in nine different games this season. Ramos had six games with multiple RBI, four games with a trio of hits and reached base in all but the final two games of the month. - 7
Kendra Falby
FloridaNotes:2022 stats (as of 2/27/22): .519 BA, 25 H, 2 2B, 2 HR, 12 RBI, 21 R
Notes: A big conversation every preseason is how many impact freshmen will there be. Florida’s got one this year in Falby. As of Feb. 24, Falby led the country in hits and freshmen in runs per game, total runs and stolen bases. An SEC Freshman of the Week accolade is already under her belt after she batted .550 at the T-Mobile tournament, which included a trio of extra base hits. Falby had 10 multi-hit games and came around to score in 14 of Florida’s 16 contests in February. - 8
Tiare Jennings
OklahomaNotes:2022 stats (as of 2/27/22): .395 BA, 17 H, 0 2B, 9 HR, 17 RBI, 22 R
Notes: It’s been nearly 13 months since the 2021 National Freshman of the Year started her collegiate career and she’s yet to face a slump. Jennings recorded a home run in five different games in February with multi-home run performances in four of those. One of Jennings' multi-home run performances came against Arizona. She's scored on multiple occasions in eight games so far this season. - 9
Baylee Klingler
WashingtonNotes:2022 stats (as of 2/27/22): .391 BA, 18 H, 4 2B, 6 HR, 20 RBI, 12 R
Notes: Klingler ranks second in both RBI and home runs in the Pac-12 so far this year. She had 12 hits in 27 at-bats against ranked opponents in February with a .444 batting average. Klingler has four multi-hit games and at-least a hit in 12 of the 15 games her team has played this season. Her RBI against Texas Tech proved to be the difference in Washington’s win over the Red Raiders in the first month of the 2022 campaign. - 10
Mia Davidson
Mississippi StateNotes:2022 stats (as of 2/27/22): .429 BA, 18 H, 4 2B, 8 HR, 17 RBI, 15 R
Notes: Davidson etched her name into the SEC record book as the most prolific home run hitter in the conference's history. The graduate student surpassed Florida’s Lauren Haeger for the top spot on Feb. 18 against Central Arkansas. Davidson currently has 77 career long balls. Three of her eight home runs this year came against Longwood.
