    Megan Faraimo

    UCLA
    Notes:

    2022 stats (as of 3/27/22): 13-1, 1.34 ERA, 171 SO, 99.1 IP
Notes: Faraimo lowered her ERA from 1.92 to 1.34 in March and only gave up a trio of home runs compared to the nine she surrendered in February. She earned four ranked wins with a pair of road wins against Washington and a pair of shutouts against Arizona. The 2021 All-American gave up five earned runs and had four double-digit strikeout performances in March.

    Danielle Williams

    Northwestern
    Notes:

    2022 stats (as of 3/27/22): 6-0, .96 ERA, 65 SO, 37.2 IP
Notes: Two months into the 2022 season, Northwestern looks to be the team to beat in the Big Ten, and Williams is perhaps the biggest part of that equation for the Wildcats. In March, she had five double-digit strikeout performances and only gave up four earned runs. Williams’ month was highlighted by her 4-0 performance at the Mizzou Classic. Two of her wins that weekend came against Missouri and Stanford, who she no-hit.

    Georgina Corrick

    USF
    Notes:

    2022 stats (as of 3/27/22): 22-3, .48 ERA, 248 SO, 162 IP
Notes: The month of March was a historic and record-setting one for Corrick. She recorded her 1,000th career strikeout in a win over UIC, became South Florida's all-time strikeout leader and became the program's leader in innings pitched. Corrick’s shutout-innings streak came to an end at 88.1 innings pitched against Purdue. This marked both a program and conference record. The senior also tossed a perfect game against Florida A&M, tallied six double-digit strikeout performances and was named the American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week on two occasions.

    Holly Azevedo

    UCLA
    Notes:

    2022 stats (as of 3/27/22): 12-1, .89 ERA, 93 SO, 62.2 IP
Notes: UCLA looks like it could run away with the Pac-12 title just two weeks into the season. That’s because Azevedo makes the Bruins' pitching staff one of the best one-two punches in the country. Azevedo had a pair of ranked wins in March against Washington and Arizona. The redshirt senior fanned 13 batters in her no-hitter against the Wildcats on March 20. Throughout the month, she gave up five earned runs and had two double-digit strikeout performances.

Notes: Our February Pitcher of the Month was stellar in the circle once again in March. Bahl collected seven wins throughout the month, including one against Kentucky in which she struck out 12 batters. Bahl pitched a no-hitter against Iowa on March 20 and only surrendered four earned runs in March.

    2022 stats (as of 3/27/22): 15-1, 1.76 ERA, 155 SO, 91.2 IP
Notes: Fouts’ March wasn’t as dominant as her February, but it was nonetheless a solid month for her and the Crimson Tide. She earned four ranked wins in March, including victories over Kentucky, Texas twice and LSU. The senior registered four double-digit strikeout performances and fanned her 700th career batter on March 20. On March 27, Fouts struck out a season-high 16 against South Carolina, which also tied a career-high.

Notes: Rochard is making a strong case to be named the ACC Pitcher of the Year for the second straight season. She’s defeated a trio of opponents twice this year with one of those opponents being Clemson. Rochard did not allow an earned run against the Tigers, only gave up six hits in 11.2 innings of work and struck out 17 batters. Notes: Storako got off to a hot start in March, recording her first win over a ranked opponent of the year with a shutout against Kentucky. In the win, Storako struck out 12 Wildcats and gave up only two hits. Her performance allowed her to be named the Big Ten Pitcher of the Week on March 5. Storako had four double-digit strikeout performances during the month.
