    2023 stats (as of 5/24/23): .439 BA, 69 H, 15 2B, 14 HR, 58 RBI, 52 R
    Notes: Jennings mashed for a .428 average in May, at the time this ranking was created. The two-time All-American's best performance came in the Norman Regional final against Cal. The junior went 4-for-4 with two home runs, four runs batted in and three runs scored. Jennings also had a multi-hit performance, 2-for-4, against rival Oklahoma State this month. She finished the Bedlam series with three RBIs and two extra-base hits.

    2023 stats (as of 5/24/23): .360 BA, 63 H, 14 2B, 17 HR, 52 RBI, 47 R
    Notes: Georgia is known for mashing the ball, and First-Team All-SEC honoree Sara Mosley kept that adage true in May. She had four multi-hit performances, with a trio of 2-for-3 efforts at the plate against LSU, Virginia Tech and NC Central. In May, Mosley came around to score six times with a pair of multi-run games, and also launched a pair of home runs. The senior notched two RBIs against both NC Central and Virginia Tech in the Athens Regional, and lifted her average from .344 to .360 after batting .476 on the month, at the time this ranking was created.

    Notes:

    2023 stats (as of 5/24/23): .427 BA, 64 H, 10 2B, 25 HR, 55 RBI, 81 R
    Notes: Milloy hit for a .435 average in May, at the time this ranking was created. One of her best performances of the month came against Indiana in the Knoxville Regional, as she went 2-for-2 with both of her hits being long balls. She finished the game with three RBIs and runs scored. Another multi-RBI performance for Milloy in May came against Florida when she tallied two RBIs with a home run and two runs scored. Milloy was named a First-Team All-SEC honoree earlier this month.

    2023 stats (as of 5/24/23): .411 BA, 62 H, 17 2B, 15 HR, 57 RBI, 44 R
    Notes: Brito tallied a trio of multi-hit performances, all 2-for-3, in May coming against Tulsa, Hofstra and Cal, at the time this ranking was created. One of her best performances of the month came when she had four runs batted in and a home run against Tulsa. Another top performance came when she drove in five runs against Cal in the Norman Regional final, while blasting two long balls.

    2023 stats (as of 5/24/23): .316 BA, 54 H, 9 2B, 16 HR, 45 RBI, 43 R
    Notes: The First-Team All-SEC honoree went 12-for-27 on the month, at the time this ranking was created, which was good for a .444 batting average in May. One of Prange's best performances in May came against Missouri in the SEC Tournament quarterfinal, as she went 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs, three RBIs and two runs scored. The graduate student's other home run on the month was a two-run shot against Tennessee.

    2023 stats (as of 5/24/23): .329 BA, 54 H, 9 2B, 6 HR, 38 RBI, 37 R
    Notes: Newland caught fire in May with three multi-hit and multi-RBI games. Her best performance came against Georgia on May 7, as she went 3-for-4 with a trio of runs batted in. Her two other multi-hit performances came against Georgia in the series opener and Prairie View in the Baton Rogue Regional opener. The First-Team All-SEC honoree tallied four extra-base hits in May, with three of those hits being doubles. Newland finished the month batting .440 with seven RBIs and five runs scored.

    2023 stats (as of 5/24/23): .379 BA, 64 H, 15 2B, 8 HR, 37 RBI, 36 R
    Notes: Kerr went 16-for-39 at the plate in May, at the time this ranking was created, which was good for a .410 average. She had six multi-hit games, which marks the most out of anybody on this list, and two multi-RBI games. The First-Team All-ACC honoree's best performance of the month was a 3-for-3 effort against Florida, which included three runs driven in. Another one of Kerr's multi-RBI performances in May came against Louisville in the series opener.

    2023 stats (as of 5/24/23): .448 BA, 77 H, 12 2B, 18 HR, 59 RBI, 63 R
    Notes: The Pac-12 Player of the Year had a hit in seven of UCLA's eight games in May, with three of those games featuring multi-hit performances by her. One of her best performances of the month was a 2-for-4 effort at the plate against Arizona in the Pac-12 Tournament semifinals, as both of her hits were home runs. She had three other extra-base hits in May, all doubles, and came around to score in six games. Brady posted a .416 average in May.

    2023 stats (as of 5/24/23): .447 BA, 67 H, 7 2B, 19 HR, 55 RBI, 72 R
    Notes: The SEC Player of the Year continued to hit in May, boasting a .400 average on the month. Wallace tallied three multi-hit games in May, with one coming against Florida State. Against the Seminoles, she went 2-for-3, with both of her hits being home runs. Wallace also hit a long ball against Kentucky, and finished that game 2-for-2 at the plate. The redshirt junior scored multiple runs on three occasions in May.

    2023 stats (as of 5/24/23): .389 BA, 70 H, 3 2B, 0 HR, 6 RBI, 56 R
    Notes: Espinoza was a hitting machine in May. One of the sophomore's best performances came against San Jose State, as she went 3-for-3 with two runs scored in that game. The Second-Team All-Mountain West honoree carried a .545 average in the Los Angeles Regional, which was pivotal in helping the Aztecs advance to the Super Regional round.
