    Sydney McKinney

    Wichita State

    2023 stats (as of 2/27/23): .708 BA, 34 H, 4 2B, 2 HR, 5 RBI, 22 R
Notes: One of the most consistent hitters from a season ago picked up right where she left off. McKinney was able to record 34 hits in February due to 10 multi-hit games. In three of those 10 multi-hit performances, she was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate. Not only was she able to reach base a lot, but she also crossed home plate quite a bit too and had seven multi–run scoring games. In the Shockers' game against Fairleigh Dickinson, McKinney recorded her 300th career hit, making her the first player in program history to do so.

    2023 stats (as of 2/27/23): .528 BA, 28 H, 4 2B, 5 HR, 19 RBI, 21 R
Notes: Nobody got off to a better start to the season than Brady, and the good times continued to roll for her all month long. During opening weekend, Brady went 13-for-16, driving in 13 runs with four long balls. This effort led her to not only be named the Pac-12 Player of the Week, but also the National Player of the Week. Brady had eight multi-hit games, six multi-RBI contests and seven multi–runs scored games. Brady boasts a .962 slugging percentage at the conclusion of February.

    2023 stats (as of 2/27/23): .525 BA, 21 H, 3 2B, 5 HR, 29 RBI, 6 R
Notes: Govan was an RBI machine in February, tallying 29. She was able to accomplish this feat by having nine multi-RBI performances during the month. Her biggest multi-RBI game came against Oklahoma when she drove in three runs via a home run, which proved to be the difference in Baylor's 4-3 win. The Sooners weren't the only ranked team Govan gave trouble to, as she drove in four runs against Arkansas on Feb. 12—which marks the most RBIs she's collected in a single game this season—and three against Maryland.

    2023 stats (as of 2/27/23): .521 BA, 25 H, 5 2B, 2 HR, 15 RBI, 26 R
Notes: As just a freshman, Goode has established herself as one of the best table setters in the country. She began her freshman campaign with at least one hit in 13 of Texas' 14 games, which marks a new program record. In seven of the 14 games, Goode recorded multiple hits with a 4-for-4 performance against Loyola Chicago on Feb. 17. She recorded an RBI in seven different games and came across to score multiple runs in eight games. Goode also stole four bases in February.

    2023 stats (as of 2/27/23): .545 BA, 12 H, 1 2B, 3 HR, 14 RBI, 17 R
Notes: One month into the season and Wallace has established herself as the SEC Player of the Year front-runner. That's due to her three multi-hit and four multi-RBI performances. She's also a perfect 9-for-9 in stolen bases this season and has six multi–run scoring games. On Feb. 20, Wallace was named the SEC Co-Player of the Week after going 10-for-16 and posting 12 RBIs at the T-Mobile Tournament.

    2023 stats (as of 2/27/23): .500 BA, 25 H, 5 2B, 7 HR, 18 RBI, 14 R
Notes: Clemson has rapidly climbed the college softball polls since its inaugural season in 2020, and a big part of that success is due to Valerie Cagle. Along with her .500 batting average, she has also shown great power with seven home runs this season to go along with 18 RBIs. In February, Cagle tallied nine multi-hit games along with seven multi-RBI games. Those numbers have catapulted her to a 1.020 slugging percentage and a .554 on-base percentage.

    Arizona State

    2023 stats (as of 2/27/23): .462 BA, 18 H, 3 2B, 9 HR, 16 RBI, 16 R
Notes: There wasn't a better home run hitter in February than VanHook, as her nine are the most of any player on this list. VanHook recorded a hit in 12 of Arizona State's 13 games this season. She finished the month with five multi-hit games, highlighted by a 3-for-3 game against Portland State, in which she also drove in five runs. VanHook's other multi-RBI games in February came against BYU, DePaul and Iowa State.

    2023 stats (as of 2/27/23): .472 BA, 17 H, 5 2B, 6 HR, 14 RBI, 18 R
Notes: One of the most dynamic outfielders in the game is once again the catalyst of the Lady Vols lineup. She recorded a hit in 10 of her first 12 games of 2023, with four of those being multi-hit performances. Milloy's best performance came against UIC on Feb. 25, as she went 4-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Milloy scored multiple times in seven different games throughout February. She also tallied five multi-RBI games and had seven overall contests with an RBI during the month.

Notes: Pleasants has demonstrated this season why she's one of the most-feared hitters in the SEC. In February, she recorded seven multi-hit games and got through the month with a .417 batting average. She also launched six home runs during the month, with one being a walk-off against Utah on Feb. 17. 2023 stats (as of 2/27/23): .517 BA, 16 H, 4 2B, 5 HR, 21 RBI, 12 R
Notes: Oklahoma is known for historically having phenom freshmen, and Erickson looks to be just that this year. The Phoenix native had three multi-hit games in February, with her most impressive performance coming against UCLA. Against the Bruins, Erickson went 2-for-3 with a run scored. The left-handed power hitter has five home runs so far this season, and she hit one in four consecutive games during the month. Erickson recorded a hit in 10 of the 12 games she played in February.
