Ashley Rogers
TennesseeNotes:2023 stats (as of 3/29/23): 10-0, .75 ERA, 97 SO, 65 IP
Notes: There was never a doubt about whether Rogers had the ability to dominate, but rather if she could stay healthy to do so. Rogers was in full form in March, catapulting the Lady Vols to the top spot in the SEC standings heading into April. The right-handed hurler picked up two wins against Alabama with 11 strikeouts over 12.2 innings of work. Rogers also tallied a win against LSU with a two-hit shutout in Baton Rogue and tossed a no-hitter in Oxford against Ole Miss. She struck out nine batters each against LSU and Ole Miss. Rogers also picked up wins against Belmont, Jacksonville State and Austin Peay this month. - 2Last: 7
Alex Storako
OklahomaNotes:2023 stats (as of 3/29/23): 11-0, .80 ERA, 73 SO, 52.2 IP
Notes: The addition of Storako to the Oklahoma bullpen paid dividends for Patty Gasso in March. The graduate student tallied a perfect 7-0 record in the month with three of those wins coming against ranked opponents—Florida State, Kentucky and Auburn. In the wins against the ranked SEC foes, Storako pitched 10 innings, allowing two hits and collecting 16 strikeouts with a season-high 11 coming against Auburn. She also tallied a road win against Mississippi State this month. - 3Last: 2
Kelly Maxwell
Oklahoma StateNotes:2023 stats (as of 3/29/23): 10-0, 1.70 ERA, 125 SO, 74 IP
Notes: The best southpaw in the college game continued to display why she's an All-American. In March, Maxwell pitched the Cowgirls to a pair of ranked wins, with both coming against Baylor. Against the Bears, she didn't allow a single earned run over 10.2 innings of work, while giving up just three hits and collecting 11 strikeouts. Maxwell bested a pair of other Power Five foes in Missouri and Arizona State in March and also recorded multiple saves, including one against Florida State. - 4Last: 1
Megan Faraimo
UCLANotes:2023 stats (as of 3/29/23): 15-2, 1.36 ERA, 136 SO, 92.2 IP
Notes: Although the Bruins haven't had the dominating start to Pac-12 play that they were projected to, Faraimo has kept UCLA in contention. She picked up four of UCLA's six conference wins in March with a pair against both Washington and Oregon. In 11.2 innings against the Huskies, she gave up four hits and no runs with eight strikeouts. While Faraimo picked up two wins against Oregon, which led her to be named the Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week for the second straight week, the Ducks also handed her the lone loss she had in March. Faraimo lowered her earned run average by .19 this month. - 5
Lexi Kilfoyl
Oklahoma StateNotes:2023 stats (as of 3/29/23): 8-1, 1.33 ERA, 59 SO, 58 IP
Notes: Oklahoma State remains a true national championship contender not only because of the dominance of Maxwell, but also because the Cowgirls have Kilfoyl to turn to. Kilfoyl went 2-1 with a save against ranked opponents in March. Her best win came against Florida State, in which she struck out seven Seminoles over six innings, while only giving up two earned runs on three hits. Kilfoyl also recorded a one-hit, complete-game performance against Baylor en route to the Cowgirls' series sweep of the Bears. Kilfoyl lowered her earned run average by 1.08 in March. - 6Last: 10
Jordy Bahl
OklahomaNotes:2023 stats (as of 3/29/23): 8-1, 1.66 ERA, 74 SO, 59 IP
Notes: Bahl was perfect in March with three key appearances during the month—two resulting in a win against ranked opponents and one being a save against Florida State. The reigning Freshman of the Year pitched a clean three innings in her save against the Seminoles, only allowing one hit while fanning six batters. Bahl went the distance against Kentucky with four strikeouts and one run allowed. The Auburn Tigers did not fare any better against Bahl, striking out nine times, which ties Bahl's season-high total. Her other two wins during the month came against Iowa State and Southeastern Louisiana. - 7Last: 5
Alana Vawter
StanfordNotes:2023 stats (as of 3/29/23): 13-1, 1.27 ERA, 75 SO, 88 IP
Notes: Stanford sits atop the Pac-12 standings three weeks into conference play and a big part of that reality is due to the performance of Vawter in the circle. In her pair of wins against Oregon, Vawter gave up just three earned runs over 14 innings of work while striking out six batters. Vawter pitched eight innings against Oregon State, giving up just four earned runs with five strikeouts en route to a pair of wins. Vawter also downed mid-major powerhouse Wichita State, along with UC Davis and Miami (OH) in March. - 8
Karlyn Pickens
TennesseeNotes:2023 stats (as of 3/29/23): 6-2, .97 ERA, 60 SO, 50.2 IP
Notes: The future of Tennessee's softball program looks bright largely because of the freshman Pickens. In her first of two wins against LSU, Pickens pitched a gem, striking out nine Tigers and only giving up one hit in the complete-game effort. Her two road wins against LSU helped her to be named the SEC Pitcher of the Week for the first time in her young college career. Not only was she named the SEC Pitcher of the Week in March, but she was also named the SEC Freshman of the Week. She received that honor after her one-hit shutout against Ole Miss. Her lone loss on the month came against Alabama. - 9
Kathryn Sandercock
Florida StateNotes:2023 stats (as of 3/29/23): 10-3, 1.26 ERA, 53 SO, 77.2 IP
Notes: The Seminoles had a strong start to conference play and that was largely because of the arm of Sandercock. Sandercock is 4-0 in the circle to open up ACC play with a pair of wins against both Duke and Syracuse. Against the Blue Devils, she fanned seven batters and allowed just one earned run in 10 innings of work. The All-American also beat Georgia Southern twice and UMass in March. Her lone loss this month came against Oklahoma State. - 10Last: 4
Valerie Cagle
ClemsonNotes:2023 stats (as of 3/29/23): 16-1, .49 ERA, 118 SO, 100.1 IP
Notes: While Cagle's March did not feature a ranked win, it was still flawless. She made history on March 8, pitching Clemson's first perfect game in program history. Cagle also earned an ACC Pitcher of the Week accolade after defeating a tough Charlotte team and Virginia twice. She pitched the full seven innings in each of her wins against the Cavaliers and did not give up a single run, while striking out a combined 10 batters. Virginia wasn't the only ACC team to come up short against Cagle twice, as Georgia Tech suffered the same fate. Cagle lowered her earned run average by .34 this month.
