Here are the best 100 players in the class of 2021.
In formulating rankings for the sophomore through senior classes, Softball America places an emphasis on real-time developmental growth in conducting player-profile analysis. Prospect potential, projected upside, overall and position-specific athleticism as well as other quantifiable metrics are key components of evaluation. At the same time, current skill set, production and impact at the club and/or high school level are fundamental analytical data points. SA’s methodology includes consultation with club, scholastic, collegiate and Team USA sources nationwide.

Jordyn Bahl
Papillion-La Vista (Papillion, Neb.) PNotes:CLUB TEAM: Nebraska Thunder
Bahl had video game type numbers in her junior season for Papillion-La Vista, leading them to a 36-0 record and state title. In the circle over 28 appearances, she had a 0.15 ERA and 27 wins. She also crushed 22 home runs with a .581 average. Her club numbers from the summer were nearly identical with a 41-1 record and 0.43 ERA.

Rylee Holtorf
O'Connor (Phoenix, Ariz.) INFNotes:CLUB TEAM: Arizona Storm
A key piece to Sandra Day O'Connor's state championship team in 2019, Holtorf does just about everything. A .551 batting average, 13 home runs and 43 RBI during her sophomore year and a .417 average and six home runs this season before it was canceled earned her the 2019-20 Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year award. She appears to be one of the next star infielders for Heather Tarr and the Huskies.

Sophia Nugent
Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, Calif.) C/3BNotes:CLUB TEAM: Firecrackers
Nugent was a late riser in the 2021 class. The Sooner commit has done her more impressive work with the Firecrackers and has displayed her power at both the high school and club levels.

Kinsey Fiedler
Lee's Summit North (Lee's Summit, Mo.) SSNotes:CLUB TEAM: Aces Fastpitch
Washington got Fiedler's commitment in November 2019 after she reopened her recruiting after being committed to Missouri. The shortstop from Missouri can cover all ground and play either middle infield position.

Aubrey Barnhart
Goodpasture Christian (Madison, Tenn.) C/INFNotes:CLUB TEAM: Tennessee Mojo
In three seasons at Goodpasture Christian in Tennessee, Barnhart has a career average over .500 and an on-base percentage close to .700 because of how much she walks. She was once an Auburn commit but flipped to the Crimson Tide.

Mac Morgan
Sherwood (Creighton, Mo.) PNotes:CLUB TEAM: Aces Fastpitch
Morgan's 0.12 ERA helped guide Sherwood to a Class 2 state championship in Missouri in 2019. She also got it done at the plate with a .590 average, 14 home runs and 57 RBI on her way to earning the 2019-20 Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year award.

Lexie Delbrey
Bainbridge (Ga.) PNotes:CLUB TEAM: East Cobb Bullets
The Gators recently got Delbrey's commitment in March. She's been clocked at high 60s and even at 71 mph. For Bainbridge over the past two seasons, she's thrown 109 innings and allowed just 12 earned runs.

Stevie Hansen
Norco (Calif.) PNotes:CLUB TEAM: Athletics Mercado
Hansen starred for Norco as they brought home back-to-back CIF Southern Section Softball Championships in 2018 and 2019. Over those two years, Hansen pitched close to 84 innings and only allowed six earned runs.

Sophia Simpson
Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, Texas) PNotes:CLUB TEAM: Texas Bombers
Simpson showcased her talents at the 16U PGF Premier nationals, guiding the Bombers to the title game where they fell just short. Over the course of the tournament, she had a 0.18 ERA in 32 innings.

Godinez (Santa Ana, Calif.) INFNotes:CLUB TEAM: Corona Angels
In 64 games at Godinez High School, Pola has a career batting average of .623 and 26 doubles. She's been committed to UCLA since the eighth grade.

Brooke McCubbin
Locust Grove (Locust Grove, Ga.) PNotes:CLUB TEAM: AP Gold
The Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year, McCubbin led Locust Grove to a Class 5A state championship behind her 23-1 record and 0.65 ERA in 140 innings pitched. At the plate, she batted .412 with 12 home runs and 50 RBI. She was previously committed to Ole Miss.

Goodnight committed to Alabama in October of 2019. A typical leadoff hitter, she displays excellent speed and slapping ability. At Mill Creek, she batted .563, stole 44 bags and scored 39 times last season.

Leading off and playing right field for the talented championship Athletics Mercado squad, Lilio holds a steady bat. In her sophomore year at Great Oak, she batted .435 with 37 runs scored.

San Marcos (Calif.) 3B/OFNotes:CLUB TEAM: Corona Angels
Sanders has displayed all types of power for San Marcos over her three years there. She has hit 31 home runs in just 64 games. Sanders has also been a staple in the lineup for Marty Tyson's Corona Angels.

Brooke Blankenship
River Ridge (New Port Richey, Fla.) SSNotes:CLUB TEAM: Tampa Mustangs
Blankenship won two state titles at the Academy at the Lakes before switching to River Ridge this past season. Her career high school average stands over .400 with eight home runs and 16 doubles.

Free State (Lawrence, Kan.) PNotes:CLUB TEAM: Aces Fastpitch
While at Free State High School, Clopton earned Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year honors in back-to-back years. During her sophomore season, she struck out 212 batters with a 0.52 ERA.

Turiya Coleman
C.E. King (Houston, Texas) CNotes:CLUB TEAM: Impact Gold
Coleman made her pledge to Oklahoma back in 2017. Her Houston RBI softball team won the title in 2019 and Coleman had a three-run inside-the-park home run in the win.

Widra shined on both sides for Spain Park in her sophomore season. She posted a 22-2 pitching record with a 1.33 ERA and 237 strikeouts in 137 innings. Meanwhile, at the plate, she hit .504 with 70 RBI.

Alexx Waitman
Crossings Christian (Oklahoma City, Okla.) SSNotes:CLUB TEAM: Athletics Mercado
Waitman, also a track runner at Crossings Christian, has a ton of athleticism to play either middle infield position or third base. With her lefty bat, she belted out five home runs and had a .630 batting average. She also added 26 steals.

Madi Elish

Similar to her sister, Miranda, Madi Elish does it from each side of the ball. In her sophomore year at Crown Point, Elish threw 94 innings for a 2.01 ERA and 102 strikeouts. At the plate in her two seasons in high school, she has a .354 average and 16 extra-base hits.

Brooke Barnard
Palm Beach Gardens (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) SSNotes:CLUB TEAM: Jersey Intensity
A two-time high school All-State selection at Florida's highest level (9A), Barnard is a versatile shortstop. Over 63 games at Palm Beach Gardens, she holds a .389 average with 13 home runs and 85 RBI.

Mackenzie Redoutey
Franklin (Franklin, N.C.) OFNotes:CLUB TEAM: Georgia Impact
Redoutey batted second and started in left field for the Georiga Impact team that finished as the runner-up last season at the 18U PGF Premier nationals. The LSU pledge racked up 68 hits, 15 home runs and 56 RBI in her first two seasons at Franklin.

The Oklahoma State commit adds speed and versatility to any team she is on. Evans stole 23 bags and added 62 hits and 56 runs scored to Red Oak's offense during her sophomore season.

West just knows how to win, as demonstrated by her accolades. She has won a Class 4A championship in Texas, PGF 14U Premier national title and a Pan American Gold Medal with the 17U U.S. team. She can play all around the field, but makes her mark in the circle.

Peck won the 2018-19 Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year award as a sophomore with her 16-1 record and 0.80 ERA in the circle. She was originally committed to Drexel, but switched to Virginia Tech.
