Softball America will rank the SEC's top 10 players each week of the 2020 college softball season.

    Maribeth Gorsuch

    2020 Stats: 3-1, 1.12 ERA, 31 K, .099 OP BA
    Gorsuch threw the first seven-inning perfect game in LSU history against Belmont. She only needed 81 pitches to record 16 strikeouts. She threw a first-pitch strike to all 21 batters she faced, en route to becoming the SEC Pitcher of the Week.

    Bailey Vick

    2020 Stats: .605 BA, 16 R, .643 OB%
    Vick climbs onto this list after hitting .750 over the course of six games. This includes a 5-for-5, two-run, two-RBI performance against Georgia Tech that helped earn her SEC Co-Player of the Week honors.

    2020 Stats: .478 BA, 3 HR, 18 RBI
    Cummins is the SEC Co-Player of the Week after hitting .714 and tallying 14 RBI. She also hit the first grand slam of her career.

    2020 Stats: .463 BA, 22 RBI, 6 HR, 8 BB
    Echols stays in these rankings after her continued success against five tough opponents at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic.

    2020 Stats: .474 BA, 19 R, 6 RBI, 11 BB, .630 OB%
    McEwen hit .643 over the course of five games to enter these rankings. She was ranked No. 69 in SA's 2020 College Top 100.

    Taylor Pleasants


    2020 Stats: .500 BA, .660 OB%, 17 R
    Pleasants remains on this list for the third week in a row, as she is still the Tigers' leading hitter. She recorded five walks against Sam Houston State.

    2020 Stats: .468 BA, 5 HR, 26 RBI, 8 BB
    Martens hit .500, scored six runs, collected 12 RBI and posted four extra-base hits in six games last week.

    Texas A&M P/OF

    2020 Stats: .451 BA, 19 R, 13 RBI, 5 HR, 509 OB% / 3-0, 0.82 ERA, 28 SO, 2 SV
    Herzog is getting it done in the circle and at the plate for the Aggies. She picked up the save in Texas A&M's win over Arizona.

    Alabama OF

    2020 Stats: .412 BA, 11 R, 13 RBI, 7 BB
    An Alabama hitter finally moves back into these rankings, as the Tide are getting back to "normal." Sides hit .667 throughout five home games over the weekend and collected eight RBI.

    Karsen Ochs

    South Carolina P

    2020 Stats: 3-0, 0.58 ERA, 7 K, .098 OP BA
    Ochs was named the SEC Freshman of the Week after posting a 3-0 mark last week. She went a full seven innings in South Carolina's win over Michigan and led the Gamecocks to an undefeated weekend.
