Natalie DenHartogMinnesota UTLNotes:
2020 Stats: .429 AVG, 20 R, 33 H, 5 2B, 7 HR, 28 RBI, .766 SLG, .537 OBP, 4-4 SB
DenHartog led Minnesota in most offensive categories including hits, RBI, batting average and on-base percentage. It’s no surprise she ended her 2020 campaign against Hawaii with two RBI and two hits.
Tristen EdwardsNebraska OFNotes:
2020 Stats: .434 AVG, 28 R, 33 H, 10 2B, 11 HR, 22 RBI, 1.000 SLG, .482 OBP
Edwards finished atop the Big Ten in many offensive categories including slugging, runs scored, hits and home runs. This season, she became the third player in Nebraska history to have at least 40 career doubles and 40 career home runs.
Meghan BeaubienMichigan PNotes:
2020 Stats: 7-5, 1.52 ERA, 73.2 IP, 90 SO
Beaubien posted an impressive 1.03 ERA through 34 innings pitched during her team’s spring break trip. She only gave up one earned run to Texas and two to UCLA as well.
Amber FiserMinnesota PNotes:
2020 Stats: 10-7, 2.17 ERA, 100 IP, 145 SO
Fiser led the Big Ten and was third in the country in strikeouts, putting her at a staggering 805 Ks for her career.
Allison DoocyIowa PNotes:
2020 Stats: 7-2, 1.54 ERA, 68.1 IP, 102 SO
Doocy had the second lowest ERA in the Big Ten this year, and also ranked 17th in the country in strikeouts per seven innings (10.4). She had six double-digit strikeout performances, including tying her career-high for strikeouts in a single game with 15 against Hawaii.
Nia CarterIowa INFNotes:
2020 Stats: .509 AVG, 9 R, 28 H, 9 RBI, .582 SLG, .542 OBP
In her first collegiate season, Carter led the Big Ten in batting average and finished 11th in the country in that category. She became the first player in Iowa history to win both Big Ten Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week honors in the same week.
MaKenna PartainMinnesota INFNotes:
2020 Stats: .349 AVG, 22 R, 29 H, 7 2B, 4 HR, 19 RBI, .602 SLG, .460 OBP, 6-6 SB
Partain had eight multi-hit games and came up with multiple clutch hits and RBI throughout the shortened season. On the other side of the ball, Partain only recorded a single error in 25 games as a middle infielder.
Kayla KonwentWisconsin INFNotes:
2020 Stats: .406 AVG, 11 R, 26 H, 5 2B, 7 HR, 14 RBI, .813 SLG, .542 OBP
Just like last year, Konwent led Wisconsin in most offensive categories this season. She racked up eight multi-hit games and nine contests with RBI for the Badgers in 2020.
Emily GoodinIndiana PNotes:
2020 Stats: 10-7, 1.76 ERA, 107.2 IP, 111 SO
After fanning 111 batters in 2020, Goodin now ranks seventh all-time in career strikeouts in Indiana history. She topped her career-high and season-high in strikeouts in a single game with 14 against Miami (OH) this season.
Skye WebbPurdue OFNotes:
2020 Stats: .380 AVG, 22 R, 30 H, 6 2B, 4 3B, 4 HR, 25 RBI, .709 SLG, .474 OBP, 8-8 SB
The transfer from Georgia Tech was Purdue’s top offensive weapon in 2020. Webb led her team in almost every category including batting average, runs, hits, doubles, triples, home runs and RBI. She also collected eight stolen bases in eight attempts.
