Softball America ranked the ACC's top 10 players following the shortened 2020 college softball season.

    Keely Rochard

    Virginia Tech P
    Notes:

    2020 Stats: 15-3, 1.52 ERA, 120.0 IP, 183 K
    Rochard dominated on the mound for Virginia Tech, tallying 183 strikeouts, which were just 10 short of her total from last season. She totaled eight games with double-digit strikeouts in 2020.

    Marissa Guimbarda

    Clemson P/UT
    Notes:

    2020 Stats: .355 BA, 1.314 OPS, 17 R, 27 H, 11 HR, 31 RBI
    Guimbarda was a menace at the plate for the Tigers in 2020. She blasted 11 homers on the season and notched 31 RBI. Her best performances of the year occurred against Charlotte and Pitt when she was 8-for-13 through four games.

    Valerie Cagle

    Clemson UTL/P
    Notes:

    2020 Stats: .376 BA, 1.167 OPS, 26 R, 35 H, 10 HR, 36 RBI / 9-6, 2.19 ERA, 89.2 IP, 87 K
    Cagle shined for the Tigers during her freshman campaign, leading Clemson in hits, runs and RBI. On the mound, Cagle also performed well. She particularly showed out against Georgia, throwing seven innings and giving up just three hits to secure a 4-1 win for Clemson.

    Brianna Butler

    Duke P
    Notes:

    2020 Stats: 8-2, 0.95 ERA, 58.2 IP, 58 K
    Butler was a standout on the mound for the Blue Devils in 2020. One of her top performances came the last weekend of the season when she threw a complete-game, one-hitter against Gardner-Webb, striking out 14 batters. Butler struck out 58 batters in total this year.

    Caroline Jacobsen

    Duke OF
    Notes:

    2020 Stats: .368 BA, 1.214 OPS, 20 R, 28 H, 9 HR, 31 RBI
    Jacobsen had a strong sophomore showing, as she powered Duke's offense. Perhaps her most memorable RBI hit of the season came against Texas to lift the Blue Devils to a win.

    Sydney Sherrill

    Florida State UTL
    Notes:

    2020 Stats: .344 BA, 1.137 OPS, 23 R, 22 H, 4 2B, 4 HR, 16 RBI
    Sherrill had another strong showing for the Seminoles this season. She tied Florida State legends Alex Powers and Jessie Warren for career doubles (51) and is currently seventh all-time in homers for FSU (32).

    Kelsey Bennett

    Virginia Tech INF
    Notes:

    2020 Stats: .368 BA, 1.305 OPS, 15 R, 25 H, 4 2B, 7 HR, 25 RBI
    Bennett stepped up as a leader for Virginia Tech in 2020. Her best performance of the year came against North Carolina A&T when she hit a home run and a triple to knock in five RBI and score two runs.

    Blake Neleman

    Georgia Tech P
    Notes:

    2020 Stats: 9-1, 1.45 ERA, 62.2 IP, 77 K
    Neleman dazzled in her freshman year as the workhorse of the Georgia Tech staff. On the season, she fanned 77 batters.

    Peyton St. George

    Duke P
    Notes:

    2020 Stats: 10-2, 2.05 ERA, 68.1 IP, 66 K
    St. George also provided strength to the Blue Devil pitching staff this year. Her best effort of the season came against Texas when she tossed a complete-game shutout to lead Duke to a 1-0 win.

    Jayme Bailey

    Virginia Tech UTL
    Notes:

    2020 Stats: .385 BA, 1.141 OPS, 22 R, 30 H, 5 2B, 3 3B, 4 HR, 21 RBI
    Bailey provided a consistent bat in Virginia Tech's lineup, tallying a hit in 17 games in 2020. Her best contest of the season came against East Carolina when she was 3-for-3 with a homer, a double and three RBI.
